PRESENTING AT IEEE GRID EDGE
TECHNOLOGIES CONFERENCE 2023!

Stop by BOOTH 1138 at the inaugural IEEE Grid Edge Technology Conference for the latest insights into real-time digital simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

This year’s conference takes place in San Diego, California inside the San Diego Convention Center from April 10–13, 2023.

Stick around for a special panel session April. 13, 2023 from 12:30–1:30 PM on the Application of Real-Time Simulation in Bulk Power System Studies with Renewables.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT BOOTH 1138

DISCOVER THE LATEST ADVANCEMENTS FOR REAL-TIME SIMULATION HARDWARE

The GTSOC, a new auxiliary hardware for the RTDS Simulator, is utilized for hardware-in-the-loop testing and facilitates the deterministic integration of vendor control models into the real-time power system simulation while protecting intellectual property.

The GTSOC features a powerful FPGA board with multi-processor system-on-a-chip technology to support this challenging application.

The ability to black-box vendor controls and include them in a hardware-in-the-loop testbed is increasingly important for interoperability testing and
de-risking inverter-based resources on the modern grid.

IEEE GRID EDGE TECHNOLOGIES PANEL SESSION

APPLICATION OF REAL-TIME SIMULATION IN BULK POWER SYSTEM STUDIES WITH RENEWABLES

APRIL 13, 2023

12:30–1:30 PM

Join us on April 13 from 12:30–1:30 PM for an exclusive panel session on the application of real-time simulation in bulk power system studies.

This panel presents the latest developments and practices of real-time (RT) simulation in the design, analysis, and testing of modern power and energy systems. The panelists will present on the practices of electric utilities and showcase use cases of RT simulation, large-scale grid modeling and simulation, distributed energy resource (DER) integration studies, transmission and distribution co-simulation for DER grid service evaluation, and bulk power system renewables integration studies.
