This training course focuses on System Automation Applications of the RTDS® Simulator in Power System Protection, Automation, and Control. Fundamentals of contemporary power system automation protocols and their applications are highlighted using a specially designed set of Hands-on exercises, including hardware-in-the-loop simulations with the RTDS® Simulator and external IEDs.

- All participants are required to provide their own laptop computer for the training course, and they must download and install RSCAD FX onto their computer prior to arriving for the course. Software installation instructions will be provided one week prior to course start date.
- An ethernet connection will be required – please ensure you bring an ethernet adaptor if your laptop does not have an ethernet port.
- A computer mouse is recommended.
- Morning and afternoon refreshments plus lunch each day is included in the course fees.
