After a new RTDS Simulator is delivered to the customer, RTDS Technologies provides its world-class commissioning and training program.
In most circumstances, this means that RTDS Technologies staff will travel to the customer’s facility, provide installation and set-up services, and commission the equipment. Following this, they remain on-site and provide an in-depth training program.
Our introductory training program is typically five days in length and is immersive. The basic course is targeted at those who have little to no experience with the RTDS Simulator. By the end of the basic five day course, trainees are able to build and run simulation cases, use various I/O to connect external equipment, create user-defined component models using CBuilder, and use scripts to automate the simulation process.
The training course can also be customized to the customer’s needs. If more experienced RTDS Simulator users will be taking the course, or if the customer has specific applications in mind, our training experts can cover additional topics on request.
We not only offer custom on-site courses for customers, but also host in-house courses at our headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We host courses for beginner, intermediate, or advanced users, covering a variety of topics. You can take a look at our upcoming courses by visiting our Training Courses page.
