HIL Testing: Modern Protection Systems–IEC 61850

Learn about real-time simulation on demand!

What to Expect

Join us for a free webinar on hardware-in-the-loop testing of modern protection systems, including a live demonstration of the closed-loop testing of an IEC 61850 Sampled Values and GOOSE-compliant relay!

    • A quick overview of closed-loop protection testing, including use case examples
    • A detailed look at the RTDS® Simulator’s hardware and software features for protection testing
    • A combination of video and screencapture showing the testing of an IEC 61850-compliant relay

Note: This webinar does not include a detailed introduction to electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation or real-time operation. To learn more about these topics, listeners should watch this short video before joining.
